Alexandra Makevich is a Political Science student at the University of California, Irvine, graduating in June 2026. She has a strong interest in data privacy, artificial intelligence, and emerging technology law, with a focus on how legal frameworks adapt to rapidly evolving technologies.

Alexandra previously interned at Metaverse Law, where she conducted research on U.S. state privacy laws and contributed to legal content on AI, cybersecurity, and data governance. She also assisted in drafting a white paper on protecting children’s neural data in the context of AI in education, published through the California Lawyers Association Privacy Law Section.

She plans to pursue a career in data privacy and AI law, with a focus on bridging gaps between technological advancement and consumer protection.
